In my recent series, the changing climate and how life on earth is being impacted by the human species occupies my thoughts as I paint. The works begin with crowd scenes, trying to incorporate an image that encompasses the amazing variety of people within humanity . To illustrate how when we join together and work together we become something greater than our individual selves and we become something slightly abstract and mysterious. Art can, and should, decorate our lives but it should also inspire and trigger original thinking.
