James W. Lambert Art

JAMES W. LAMBERT attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) where he earned both a BFA and an MFA in Painting and Drawing. He was a Visiting Artist to the first year program at SAIC and then taught at Oakton Community College. His life as an artist/artisan has produced numerous commissioned paintings, children's and antique reproduction furniture, cabinetry, decks, floors, fences, even chicken coops.

Lamberts’ paintings most often feature abstracted crowd scenes or groups of objects. His new paintings include a wide variety of subjects from finger puppets, to a display of Toby mugs, to Mexican lucha libre masks.
